Ronald van Driel, member of the supervisory board
Ronald van Driel (1961) began his career as a policy officer at the former Construction and Woodworkers Union FNV. He then worked at organisations managed by representatives of employers' and employees' organisations and education. Through various roles and projects, he has experience with sector issues concerning the alignment of education and business, education and career policy, staff, and sustainable employability.
“Currently, I am the director of Savantis, a foundation that helps people and organisations in the areas of education, craftsmanship, and sustainable employability. I spend my free time with my family and friends. Additionally, I enjoy running, playing squash, walking, reading, and cooking.
I am a member of the supervisory board because I want to contribute to De Horecabond with my Insights, experience, and motivation. A good, modern union is important for employees, but also for entrepreneurs and the hospitality, recreation, and catering sectors.”
