My name is Carlo Snoek and since 1 June 2026 I have been the second negotiator for the CLA recreation on behalf of De Horecabond. Negotiations for a new CLA will start in September. That’s why I want to tell you why your voice is indispensable right now.
I look forward to working towards better employment conditions, especially because I know this sector from the inside. Before I started at De Horecabond, I worked in recreation myself.
I know how special it is to provide guests with a fantastic holiday together with colleagues. From reception to hospitality and from the technical service to cleaning: everyone contributes to this. No day is the same and it is precisely this collaboration that makes working in recreation so wonderful.
That’s why I am proud to be able to work as a negotiator for the people who make a difference every day.
Time for a new CLA
Due to the economic situation, the CLA negotiations were previously postponed. Employers temporarily pressed the pause button. Understandable perhaps, but in the meantime, employees are still waiting for new agreements.
That’s why we’ll be sitting down with employers again in September. We’re not only talking about improvements for 2026, but we’re also looking ahead to 2027. This offers the opportunity to make agreements that really benefit employees.
We need your help with that
We don’t create a good CLA just at the negotiation table. We want to know what you find important. That’s why from 17 August we’re travelling across the country. We’ll visit around 100 recreation parks and ask employees to fill in a short questionnaire. This way we hear directly what you want to see in the new CLA recreation.
Do you think your salary should go up? Are better allowances, more security, clearer schedules or a better work-life balance needed? Or are there other topics that you think deserve attention?
Fill in the short questionnaire or when we visit your park. Only with your input do we know what really happens on the work floor. This way we can stand up for what you and your colleagues find important during the negotiations.
