Members' Meeting 1 June 2026: are you coming too?

Join the conversation about the future of your sector and De Horecabond. During our annual Members' Meeting, we make important decisions and look ahead.

We will discuss the Annual Report, you can attend inspiring workshops, and meet other De Horecabond members. There is plenty of opportunity to network with colleagues from your sector. We will also reflect on what we have achieved together. Additionally, we celebrate a significant milestone: for the first time in 15 years, we are back in the black. You are warmly invited to our annual Members' Meeting on Monday, 1 June 2026 in Madurodam.

Are you coming by public transport? Within 10 minutes from The Hague Central or Hollands Spoor, you will be at our entrance. Take tram 9 towards 'Scheveningen Noord' or bus 22 towards 'Den Haag Duindorp' and get off at the 'Madurodam' stop.
Are you coming by car? Then park your car in the car park.

Day programme

Our day chair Niels Houtepen opens the Members' Meeting and ensures the programme runs smoothly with an energetic atmosphere. In the joint programme, we discuss the Updates state of affairs within the association and our sectors. The Annual Report and changes to the statutes are also on the agenda. In the afternoon, you will attend two workshops:

Themed tour of Madurodam
Take a look behind the scenes: a brief explanation from the head chef, a tour of the kitchen, and a visit to the studio where the miniature houses are made and repaired.
Ready for the future
How do you remain future-proof in the workplace? In this interactive workshop, we will explore the key developments and what you can already do today.

After attending two workshops, we will collectively reflect on the day. Then, during a drinks reception, there is time to network with colleagues from the sector, and we will conclude the day with a delightful buffet.

Union leave: what applies to you?

Hospitality CLA According to article 3.25 of the CLA hospitality, you can make arrangements with your employer about attending the Members' Meeting. This way, as long as work permits, you can participate during working hours. Always coordinate this with your employer.

Catering CLA According to article 58g of the CLA catering, you are entitled to union leave with continued pay. This applies to attending, for example, our Members' Meeting. The leave is valid for up to 12 days per year, as long as work permits. You should agree on this in advance with your employer and inform them of your participation.

Recreation CLA According to article 28, paragraph 3 of the CLA recreation, you are entitled to union leave with salary retention for attending, among other things, our Members' Meeting. This leave is valid for up to 8 days per year. For active members, a maximum of 11 days per year applies, as long as the business conditions allow this.
