Employees of KLM Catering Services (KCS) will hold a work stoppage on Wednesday, 4 September from 8:00 to 10:00, fighting for a decent CLA catering. Trade unions FNV Catering, de Unie, CNV Vakmensen, and employers' organisation VENECA have not reached a negotiation result for a new CLA catering after difficult negotiations.
Connection with FNV Ground Staff of KLM
After several punctuality actions at KCS and various actions at company catering locations, employers' organisation Veneca has not come up with a better offer. The work stoppage at KCS aligns with the work stoppage of FNV Ground Staff of KLM. However, it concerns a different conflict; KCS falls under a different CLA than the ground staff, but is 100% a subsidiary of KLM.
With the work stoppage, KCS employees show that they have had enough and that they are fighting in this way for better pay, higher travel allowance, and arrangements to sustain their work in a good manner in the future.
