Today, the Central Bureau of Statistics announced that the number of union members in the Netherlands has decreased by 4% this year compared to two years ago. De Horecabond does not recognise this trend and has actually achieved a net membership growth of 3.6% over the past two years, up to September 2023.
Dick Koerselman, chairman of De Horecabond: “According to the CBS study, 54% of non-members have never considered a membership.
