The proposed VAT increase is an additional tax on your culture, sport, hospitality, and media. It is an extra tax on your precious free time, on your curiosity, on cheering for your favourite football team, on the book you want to read, on your painting on the wall, on your local brass band, on a hotel stay in the country, on the magazine on the train, on the kickboxing school in the neighbourhood, and on the newspaper that keeps you informed about the world around you.
FNV hospitality wholeheartedly supports this campaign. They urge everyone to make their voices heard against the VAT increase. This increase affects us all and places additional pressure on the things that make our lives more enjoyable and interesting.
