De Horecabond has launched a campaign to actively involve recreation staff in the preparations for a new CLA recreation. The Updates CLA expires on 31 December 2025. Negotiations with employers will begin in the autumn.
Experiences and wishes of staff central
The previous CLA was established after a lengthy process, in which employers and unions struggled to reach agreements. Eventually, an agreement was still reached. This underscores the importance of staff making their experiences and wishes known at an early stage.
Johan Bijlsma, recreation officer at De Horecabond:
“We want to be well-prepared at the table. With a widely supported narrative, based on what employees themselves find important. The more recreation employees share their experiences, the stronger we stand in the negotiations.”
Company visits and online questionnaire
In the coming months, De Horecabond will visit recreation companies across the country to engage with staff. There is also an online questionnaire, allowing recreation employees to easily provide input. Topics such as salary Your career, workload, and sustainable employability receive special attention.
Working together towards a strong CLA
With input from as many employees as possible, De Horecabond aims to ensure that the new CLA recreation better aligns with the reality on the shop floor.
