The Theme Park Barometer by the Omnico Group and Blooloop primarily investigated guests' attitudes towards new technologies this year. Particularly, the pre-booking of a complete theme park day, including attractions, food, and souvenirs, is high on the wish list. The research was conducted in China, Great Britain, and the USA.
The research shows that 90 percent of respondents think it is a good idea to book the entire trip to a theme park in advance. Components of such a booking include, among others, entrance ticket, fast-Card, meals, souvenirs (ready for collection at a pick-up point afterwards), hotel, attraction times, and reserved seats at shows and photo locations. Both the laptop (at home) and an app on the mobile phone are suitable for these pre-bookings.
