We are starting with a team of 8 to 10 Hospitality Ambassadors Work & Income. You will visit companies, schools, fairs, and events to educate and inform people about work & income, rights & obligations, and De Horecabond. Engaging conversations that truly make a difference. 

Together we ensure more visibility and more involvement from (future) members. And we do this in a smooth, fun, and flexible way. 

At De Horecabond, an association with a working organisation, we commit every day to fair work, good employment conditions, and appreciation for everyone working in the hospitality industry. Think of hospitality, catering, holiday parks, zoos, and more. This vibrant industry thrives on people with a passion for their craft.  

What will you do?

  • 2–3 shifts weekly (approx. 16 hours per week). 
  • Visit companies, schools, fairs, and events in pairs or teams. 
  • Conduct around 60 conversations per shift. 
  • Inform workers about wages, schedules, CLA agreements, and other important employment conditions. 
  • Clearly and kindly explain what De Horecabond can mean for them. 
  • Contribute ideas for actions, themes, and campaigns that are relevant at that time. 
  • Work closely with your team and our two Leaders.

  • You enjoy approaching people. 
  • You have 16-24 hours available besides your daily activities to work as flexibly as possible. 
  • You have an interest in work & income and an affinity with our hospitality industry. 
  • You are approachable, commercial, and convincing. 
  • Good command of the Dutch language
  • Conducting a simple conversation in English is no problem for you. 
  • A driving licence is a plus. 
  • Educational level: Mavo - HBO - University
