Will I be covered by the CLA hospitality from 2027?
Are you starting work in catering after 1 January 2027? Then the CLA hospitality applies to you.
Are you already working in catering with a permanent contract and are you covered by the CLA contract catering? Then your Updates employment conditions remain in effect. This will continue to be the case, even if you officially fall under the CLA hospitality.
What does the transition to the CLA hospitality mean for my salary and employment conditions?
Are you currently working with a permanent contract in catering and are you covered by the CLA contract catering? Then your employment conditions remain the same. Your salary will, however, follow the salary increases of the CLA hospitality
Will my Updates employment terms be retained?
Yes. For permanent employees, the terms of employment remain the same. Do you have a temporary contract? Then the Updates conditions apply until 1 January 2027 or until the end of the contract.
Will you receive a new contract after that? Then usually the CLA hospitality applies.
Are negotiations still ongoing for the CLA contract catering?
No. The CLA contract catering 2026 will end. This has already been agreed upon. There will be no new CLA contract catering. The Updates agreements will still apply to permanent staff, except for the salary increases.
How is my job classified in the CLA hospitality?
Trade unions and employers are currently making agreements about this. As soon as more is known, we will share it.
Can my employer choose to apply an AVR?
Yes, that is possible. But an AVR cannot replace the CLA. Additional agreements on top of the CLA are allowed. They must always be better and not worse.
Do I need to sign a new contract due to the transition?
No. You do not need to sign a new contract.
Employers and unions manage the transition to the CLA hospitality together. Do you have a permanent contract? Then your Updates terms will remain in effect.
Can I contribute ideas for the new hospitality CLA?
Yes!
