Do you receive sick pay?

In the catering CLA, the following is stipulated regarding continued salary payment during illness. If you fall ill, you will receive 95 percent of your salary for the first 13 weeks.
For the remainder of the first year of illness, in other words, the next 39 weeks, you will receive 90 percent of your salary. If the illness lasts longer than a year, the payment for the second year of illness is 80 percent. No waiting days are deducted, so you are paid for every day you are ill.

If you have variable hours, the salary amount is based on the average number of working hours over a period of 13 weeks prior to the first day of illness. The employer must, in any case, continue to pay your contracted hours.
