In recent weeks, we have talked a lot about the future of the catering sector. With the termination of employers at the employers' association Veneca and various wishes among employers, the search for consensus continues.
We are still looking for where employers' and employees' associations can find common ground. For this, we have received a mandate from the CLA committee. Within that mandate, we are seeking a solution that does justice to the hard work of our members.
I will be honest: this is not easy. But we keep going. With the trust of our members, we are taking steps towards a CLA that is as widely supported as possible and is good for the people in the sector. It is great that the unions are aligned on this.
At the moment, the discussions are still informal. The step towards formal consultation is approaching. For this, it is important that more employers take responsibility and come to the table.
