The allowance is 10% on each hourly salary of the entire night shift, including the hours before 00.00 and after 06.00. If your employer already pays a compensation for night shifts or a night allowance, it remains valid. If your employer pays more than a 10% compensation, nothing changes. If your employer pays less than a 10% compensation or night allowance, this will be increased to a 10% night allowance.

The advantage of working at night is that in many sectors, there is extra pay. After all, working at night is physically and mentally more demanding. Therefore, it is good that from 1 April, the night allowance for front-office staff in hospitality will be introduced.
