The social plan of Gate Gourmet has been signed by the employer and the union. This means that the plan now applies to all employees. The social plan includes agreements on arrangements and provisions for employees who lose their jobs (redundant).
The main points from the negotiation result:
- A severance pay of 1.75 times the statutory transition compensation
- An outplacement programme of €1,750
- An individual training budget of €1,900 in combination with the outplacement programme
- A voluntary redundancy scheme that allows an employee to voluntarily make way for another colleague who is redundant
- A personal allowance that is indexed in line with CLA salary increases.
- €750 for financial or legal support
- Option to reconsider redeployment within 3 months
- A retention bonus of one month's gross salary 3 months after placement in a new role
- Duration from 15 May 2024 to 14 May 2025
