New CLA catering: cast your vote

30-12-2025

Earlier, we informed you about the discussions we had with employers in catering. We then started conversations to explore whether there was sufficient basis to still reach a CLA catering 2026. That was no easy task. It was also a question of which employers would eventually join.

We can now share news: a negotiation result has been reached. The majority of employers who were previously affiliated with the employers' association Veneca have indicated they want to sign this result. They will thereby become a party to the CLA catering 2026. For a complete overview of all the agreements made, view the negotiation result

Annemieke Jacobs, union representative De Horecabond: “It was a process with a lot of resistance and hurdles. Fortunately, we were able to arrange something for our members. Without a CLA, many employees would have been worse off; we wanted to prevent that. Now there is a widely supported CLA again, and we can look ahead.”

Not all employers sign the CLA

On the voting page you can see which employers sign the Contract Catering Agreement 2026. Is your employer not listed there? Vote anyway. Even if your employer is not participating now, your vote is important. Employers can still join the CLA later. By voting now and indicating where you work, we ensure that your situation is known.

This way, we keep track of all employees in catering. Also of colleagues at employers who are not participating yet. Together we ensure that no one falls out of sight.

Main points of the negotiation result

  • Duration: 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026
  • Salary Your career:
    - In part A and B, salaries in scales 1 and 2 are increased by the statutory minimum salary. This is 2.16%* as of 1 January 2026.
    - In part A, salaries in scales 3 to 9 are increased by 2.5%*
    - In part B, salaries in scales 3 to 11 are increased by 2.5%*.

  • Employment conditions in part A are secured. No more changes will take place, other than the increase of the travel allowance when it rises for part B.

*The condition for the increase is that you have been employed by the employer for at least 1 year at the time of the increase. Job grades 1 and 2 follow the increases of the statutory minimum salary.

The negotiation result has been extensively discussed with the catering CLA committee of De Horecabond. They have agreed to it.

And now?
