The accountability body of the Pensioenfonds hospitality & Catering includes representatives from hospitality and catering: employers, employees, former employees, and pensioners. An introduction to Peter, who has recently joined the accountability body as an employee.
Peter Stoute (51) has been working in contract catering since 1993, currently as a hospitality manager for Vermaat at Robeco in Rotterdam. For the first 22 years, he worked for Sodexo at various locations and in different roles. In addition to his work as a hospitality manager, he is also part of the works council at Vermaat:
"The first year as secretary and then as chairman. I find it important to represent my colleagues and delve into various subjects to influence decision-making. Four years ago, I joined the CLA committee of the union. This is very enjoyable to do, and here we represent all employees working in the sector. In this role, I have further explored the complexity of the CLA. Two years ago, I joined the union's negotiation team from this CLA committee. Meanwhile, my interest in the Pensioenfonds hospitality & Catering had also grown. An important institution that many colleagues do not consider much during their working life. I want to use my Insights and eagerness to learn during my role in the accountability body. It is important that the choices made do justice to the participants in the fund as much as possible."
