Recently, there has been much discussion about the terms and conditions of employment and working conditions at Walibi Holland. Because De Horecabond and the management have different views on the experiences on the shop floor, we are launching an anonymous employee survey among Updates and former employees. This will give us a complete picture of what is happening and allow us to include employee feedback in further discussions with the management.
Why this survey?
In recent times, many employees have spoken out about the terms and conditions of employment and working conditions at Walibi Holland. A large group of employees initiated a petition with proposals for improvement. When this did not lead to the desired result, employees asked De Horecabond to engage in discussions with the management on their behalf.
In the months that followed, various discussions took place between De Horecabond and Walibi Holland. As these discussions led to no resolution, various actions were taken in the autumn and spring to draw attention to the situation on the shop floor. On 30 April and 1 July, both parties met again to discuss matters including terms and conditions of employment, working conditions, social safety, and employee participation.
During the discussions, it became clear that De Horecabond and Walibi Holland have different views on the experiences and issues raised by employees. Therefore, we are now asking everyone who is or has been on the shop floor to share their experiences.
