Restaurant's business card

A hostess or host is the business card of a restaurant and sets the atmosphere. A modern and professional host or hostess is knowledgeable about the products and services the restaurant offers, familiar with etiquette, and open to the wishes and reactions of the guest, explains Willem Kool of the Stan Huygens Journal. He was on the jury yesterday for the National Hennessy Hospitality Award, one of the few competitions where hospitality is the focus. A good host or hostess should be able to sense that.
