On Monday, 22 May, the coordination group for the CLA Swimming Pools met to discuss a new CLA for swimming pools. No negotiation result has been reached yet.
Employers' proposal
The employers' organisation Wizz made the following proposal:
- Duration of 2 years: 1 July 2017 to 1 July 2019.
- A salary increase of 1% per 01-01-2018 and 1% per 01-01-2019
- Addition of minimum training requirements for swimming instructors and supervisors
- (Revised) social agenda
Trade unions' response
Trade unions responded that they are willing to agree to a CLA with a duration of 2 years, but employers must then come up with a better salary proposal. The proposal of a total of 2% for a two-year CLA is insufficient. Employers are now consulting with their members to request more salary space.
On Thursday, 29 June 2017, employers and employees will meet again to continue discussions about the new CLA for swimming pools.
